How Asbestos Abatement Works
Our asbestos abatement process follows strict NYC DEP and NYS regulations, from initial notification through documented final clearance.
- Project Assessment & Abatement Planning:
Review of asbestos survey, scope coordination, and preparation of required NYC DEP filings (including ACP forms where applicable).
- DEP Notification & Regulatory Filings:
Submission of required asbestos project notifications, including ACP-7 and ACP-21 forms as needed.
- Containment Construction & Negative Air Setup:
Installation of regulated containment barriers, decontamination units, and negative air filtration systems to control asbestos fiber release.
- Controlled Asbestos Removal:
Licensed removal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) in accordance with local and state asbestos abatement regulations.
- Regulated Waste Handling & Disposal:
Proper packaging, labeling, transload, and disposal of asbestos waste, including waste shipment records and required documentation.
- Project Closeout & Site Turnover:
